Default Need Help: Smog Check

Anyone know of any smog check spots in OC/LA area that are friendly to tuned cars? Need to get it done before Oct. 29th and haven't had any luck. Figured I'd ask you guys...

Try every smog shop and ask them for under the table. You'll be surprise that some of them will do it.

lol I am in the same boat as you... my old guy that did it for me last time got busted. Now I am debating how I am gonna to deal with my old crusty worn out cats... I might try the ole spacer/spark arrestor trick but it seems like it really doesn't work that well...

Been wanting to put my catless headers on but I still want to street drive the car and pass smog every year without a damn headache...
Readiness sensors, worn cats, old evap system, pretty soon the only way my car will pass smog is under the table

CA should just make a tuned car exception tax or something, pay them the extra money so at least the state gets it instead of the shady smog guys lol.

I know a guy that doesnt do the visual, but he still reads your car's OBD. If you can pass that, then he might be worth a shot.
I'll pm you the address. Don't want him to get in trouble.
