Just trying to find a back story to this. Can tell this was 03.0, but converted trunk/led tail lights?
Also, all the carbon fiber bits and upgrades. Wondering if this is a good car or not. Car fax shows accident in 06, but no other info. http://www.cincinnatiusedautosales.c...1c5b0158f2887/ |

This forum has become a real dumping ground lately.

I think it really depends on what youre comfortable with, maintenance wise. If you can diy, or are willing to spend a fortune, then go for it. All these people saying they wouldnt touch a car with no history, but we all know that these cars have failure points. History or no, they need the same things and the most babied car on the forum can still tear a subframe or have a vanos failure
What are you willing to put up with to own one? |

I'm all for saving a M3 off a used car lot and bringing it back to life... but that three different tire brand deal is pretty funny.
![]() I'd say a M3 in the 90,000-mile range was probably someone else's problem and they're dumping it on the next owner. However, if you can get the service records, might as well go for it. Something I learned to do is if there were shops or dealerships on the carfax, I called and gave them the VIN and asked what all had been done. Most have no problem giving you complete details and reading the notes they had for each time it was in. Just a suggestion.
