Default OEM bosch headlights install

So I purchased these UK version hid's , however having a hard time finding someone to help me with the install.

These do not have ballasts there is some splicing needed , anyone familiar with this process ?

I saw a few DIY's but they are not clear. I am in the columbus area and am will to pay

Cheers !

Unless I'm mistaken, the European OEM headlights were not HID driven, but instead used halogen/incandescent bulbs.

Installing HID bulbs into them without retrofitting a proper HID projector won't output the best light. You may want to look into retrofitting proper projectors or even bi-xenon projectors, unless plug and play HID's are good enough for you.

Correct and since you are using UK version, you have old H1 units and RHD. IIRC you can turn or flip the projector housing to have correct LHD beam.

Did you get the round connector and pigtail for them?

You're likely confused by the "euro" connector in addition to the projectors likely being setup in the RHD position.

You need a US to Euro adapter harness. Something like this; http://r.ebay.com/P2OC5b

Do not install xenon into your halogen based lights. They are not designed for it.

That's why people need to look beyond the projector units and source mainland Europe H7 units. LHD, great light output, no need for xenon.

Just fit and be done. No need to make it harder than necessary.

Wouldn't be necessary if people acted sensibly.

For the 1000th time. Properly retrofitted HID's will always out perform your shitty H7 headlights. Get over it already
