Yeah I always made sure it was hot hot but it's that misfire that's making it not pass cause it passed the 25 mph test just not idle
I'm waiting for my paycheck then I'm gonna send the injectors to get flow matched and cleaned and that should fix it up

Well I passed the numbers at 15 and 25mph finally. But....., tech failed me because the DEC cats sit closer to the ground causing scratches from rubbing. Of course this ruined the embossed EO numbers and he failed me because he couldn't read it. Said he didn't care and it wasnt his problem. Guess I'll go to a smog referee.

This isn't my thread so I wont complain any longer, but did want to point out that my Nox numbers went from 1500 ppm to 20 at 15mph and 3 ppm at 25mph with new cats. They will be removed to "save" them and reinstalled in 2 years.

Good luck, I sure didn't have any!

You have a 93 325is, take the injectors out of that car, m50 and s50 used the same green injectors. There was a guy on R3Vlimited that was doing injector rebuilds for almost nothing just the cost of his fluids.

Can't seem to find the thread, but you could always grab some from a JunkYard and have a spare set cleaned so you are not without a car.

Got my injectors cleaned and they cleaned up the misfire but it is still there
HC went from 263 to 700....
CO went up from .02 to .43
CO2 raised from 7.4 to 13.1
O2 lowered from 10. to 1.5
anybody know how to read the gas analyzer?

OBDI Cars - under the hood and cats visual inspection + 2 speed rolling test (15 and 25mph)

OBD II Cars - under the hood and cats visual inspection + 2 speed rolling test (15 and 25mph) + gas cap inspection + OBD port plug-in inspection for CELs or stored codes
I was under the impression that 1975 was still exempt... Is that not true? Is it based on build date or model year?

I also have bav auto coils that came with the car
I have read mixed reviews and since there is a 2 year warranty I would think they only last so long unlike bosch or bremi
I'm going to replace the coils with the bosch ones I have and see if there is a difference because I did that before I replaced the knock sensors and o2 and didn't see a change but maybe now all that is done that is my problem hopefully
