Let me know your thoughts on my ad. Feels like it's about right.

Mods, even tasteful ones, are very individual. The buyer that will appreciate your mods doesn't have 20 large laying around. They need financing and there are few (if any?) banks that will lend on a 22 year old car.

OTOH, if you reverted as much back to stock as possible / reasonable (along with the low miles) you might catch the eye of a older buyer with some disposable cash.

Also, there is a bit of a negative vibe coming through your ad in a couple places. You might want to edit when you're in your happy place.

GLWS.

I don't think the ad has a negative vibe, just being straight up. Honestly though, if you want top dollar, people like me, who would pay it, would skim right over the ad with VMR wheels. They don't suit a top dollar car. I'm sure some people like them, just giving an honest perspective from your target market.

Sub, and horrid steering wheel was enough for me. There's a lot more but not a $19k E36 in my opinion.

MAAAAYBE, IF it was a more desirable color combo..
imo 19k is a huge stretch.

Coincidentally, The last 2 E36 M3's to sell on BaT were black/black 95's with ~75k mi. Sale prices were $15,750 and $16,800...+5% buyer fee. The cheaper one seemed like the better value as it had a good bit of maintenance done. The $16.8 car was fairly surprising b/c it had immediate needs but it was a 1-owner car and there aren't many of them left.

Even though the mods on your car are of pretty high quality, there are a lot of them. I think many people want a stock example to preserve or do little things to at their discretion. Mods are fun, but they turn more people off than on when talking about an E36 M3.

I would revert the car back to stock; especially the exterior & interior...amber lights, chrome kidneys, DS1's, radio, and steering wheel. Under the hood I would lose the strut tower brace and powder coat the valve cover. Change those things and the car speaks to a MUCH broader audience, who are also more likely to have the resources to purchase.
