I don't have it on me right now, but last Roundel has 4 or 5 ads with asking prices in the high-teens.
This is the same car that sold on BaT at the end of June for $25.5. Looks like they put 10miles on it since purchase.

Pristine examples will always demand a premium within that context.

I'm still seeing reasonable examples on CL in the $7500-$12k range.

I knew the sellers name looked familiar. He mentioned it was for his personal collection. Must not have liked it too much.

I think the fact a lot of car dealerships are getting these low mile cars, and asking insane prices are making people think the prices are going up a lot. There's a used 1998 automatic convertible at a Mini dealer by me, it's only got around 35k miles on it but they want $22k for it. The car fax shows I believe four owners and no maintenance. Hellrot with dove interior.

I'd really like to believe I own a nicer example, even with 144k on the clock. Plenty of maintenance, modifications, and upkeep. I'm only the second owner and the car came from the west coast. I know I could never ask anything close to $22k. Half that if I was lucky.

When some of the asking prices make an EAG car look decently priced you know the ask is absurd.

Might want to rethink that statement.

EAG has no stock atm and they've jacked up the prices for LTW's by about 30% in the last year.

I don't understand why some members of the community are so adamantly against the price increases on these cars.

the e36 m3 is one of the most balanced drivers car and for the current price you can't really find anything else with similar build quality and reliability.
