So the price to replace all worn trims and seals on the E36 then?

Owner is a BMWCCA president, naturally he's going to try and get the highest payout on it

That's a gorgeous car though. Gotta love how all the NA BMW M's of yesteryear are all going up. Now's a great time to pick them up IMO.

Check I just bought my first very clean e36 M3 for about 12 seven and it has 128,000 miles on it needs about 3-4K worth of parts.
The question is once the car is fixed up what should I do it.......should I drive the heck out of it and have lots of fun or should I stick it in the garage and hope that I can make some money on it someday just kidding I know the answer to that question

You should drive it and have fun, life is way too short not to have fun with a 12-18k car!

Haha no doubt. I laugh at these "savvy investors" that make a months pay by hanging onto a car and not driving it over a few years.

Drive it. The car is probably my favorite DD M to date for many reasons. No reason to let it sit when it is as comfortable on the street as it is, pretty low maintenance, and can still handle like it's on rails when you hit some twisty roads.

Looks like an awesome car but thats getting REALLY high for something that doesn't have something "special" about it, wether that be ridiculously low milage, awesome colour combo (although its probably awesome to someone) or a bunch of rare motorsports stuff on it.

Take it you mean Dinan parts? I see no rare motorsport parts(?)

Like that combo, it's nicer than that Estoril one. White painted door handles need to go.

So do the utterly useless strutbars. Doesn't matter they say Dinan (that makes it even worse), hinges are still hinges.

But....that window tint must go! -10K with that tint....that's bad for any classic car.
