One note if you do this. You want a 2001 or 2002. Reason is where ABS is. Having the ABS on the well on the pass side makes this easier. On a 2003 up you have to modify and cut more. We have a 2003 M3 so it can be done. Just means a few extra "prep" steps. Other than that same.
Again will document better. Right now you guys get to see stuff as I type HAHA. Sorry.

Funny you say that. As we do this, yes it is a lot but not really. The gang up here I drive with and hang out are all car guys. If you have a group like this such a project is really not hard and rather fun. In 2 days of futzing we basically know how the motor goes in and what needs to be made and cut.
There is more than one way to do this and by no means the way I will document is the end all be all. It will be the way I did it and the way I think it should be done. I am keeping quality the same as the CSL and paying attention to all details I can. Other ways may be better and like most things, end result is the same. The "big" issue is of course code and wire. But I am having experts do that and will ask them to document as I am paying for it. When you have tools and knowledge less of a challenge. No updated 12/30. We are off to go play in the dirt to test some trails for a offroad run. If you offroad check out hobby site for drive events. www.raddrives.com

Love this build and love the fact that we get to see everything in "real time". Keep it up!

Are you going to be able to keep the steering rack in the stock location? Moving it down is a problem encountered in the FD swaps and bumpsteer becomes a big issue.

I don't want to discourage the MSS54hp, but I'm 99% certain epic used the MSS65.
