Off to the auto electricians for its custom loom. Must say im very please with the wheels - not for the purists who cringe at the sight of 18s

Happy to discuss over PM as I have an itemised tracking of all costs but costs have snowballed. Im now at the cost of a standard reasonable condition E30 M3 - there is not much more build left so that is the comparision.

I wanted a track car and that is what I have got using some very good bits. At the moment I wouldnt recover the costs if sold but as they say "If you want to play, you gotta pay".

The shell I got had some very good bits and had a lot of DTM inspired work done to it - raised front wheel wells, wider front fenders, Group A coilovers, Z3M rear end, full FIA cage, carbon panels, poly carb windows, carbon seats, heated front screen, foam cell fuel tank relocated to the boot, carbon diffuser, full front carbon undertray, revised rear turrets etc... If I started from a standard shell I think you would run up in to twice the cost of the standard e30 M3 by now.

The engine conversion aspect was suprisingly straight forward and cheap considering.

Ive done a complete U-turn on the front setup and just took the plunge and got some adjustable DTM control arms. Im quite excited about this development and should contribute to some good handling.

Some slow progress at the moment as we look to rewire the whole car, and take out anything that is unnecessary. Im glad Im not doing this part !

Loom is starting to look a lot better now with customised lengths and unnecessary bits taken out:

Control arms turned up today too

Engine sub frame has been modified to take the DTM arms.
