I take it those figures are at the wheel. What about at the fly?

Yes the figures are to the wheel. feel free to pm me and we can talk about the flywheel figures. More often forum members are interested in whp instead of hp.

Interesting. So basically I need your licensed software and a cable (which you seem to sell). Connect to my OBD2 cable to my car. Do some things and email you the info collected. You make the tune and email it back. I upload it using your licensed software and OBD2 cable?

Am I on track?

Sounds just about right!

I love all this new remote tuning capabilities. Seriously has revolutionized the BMW scene.

LOL, because I always demand so much

Would it be possible to see stock vs headers vs headers + tune on the same graph? Would be great to see the exponential gains depicted in a progressive manner.

Same here.

Frank is amazing at what he does. We have been working together on tuning my lets call it a VF 450 kit. (420 kit with the 480 kit pulley and relocated AIT) we just did our first dyno day and he helped me for over 2.5 hours on the phone and email while sending me updated tunes based off the dyno runs. On the "heart breaker" dynojet the first run was 359whp, 12 runs later I left with 373whp and a 20ft/lb increase in torque from 3k up to 8k. All that on 91 crap octane and maintaining a very safe AFR. TTFS will be making our tunes to go along with our headers starting next year. frank is the man!!

What we all really want to know is... How do these (CPI stepped) numbers (before and after) compare to other cars with similar mods and traditional aftermarket headers, as well as how they compare with v1 ss stepped before/after.

Alex,

The purpose of this thread is not aimed at comparing headers or tune with headers of company X, Y, or Z. This thread is to help show the delta gains of our tune with the before and after comparison. I disclosed some background info to help our m3forum members have a better understanding of what was done to the car and beat the typical question of what mods where done to the car etc.

Now lets stay on topic.
