I'm wondering what that first car would make with a higher redline? Isn't the true advantage of the 288/280 above 8000rpm? I have only seen dynos of them TO 8000rpm...and they look like that one, still climbing at 8000.

I'm pretty anxious to see what my setup makes after Frank gets done with it!!

nice job fellas, its pathetic how little TQ the e9x makes. No fault to TTFS.. the c55 makes so much more tq its crazy...gotta love those MB 8 cylinders.

Not bad for an e46M. :P Approximately 135.9 hp/liter. Ferrari 458 Italia is a measly 127hp/liter. Booo

I think nickpiper has graphs going to 8.5k with 288/280.

I'm also anxious to see your results!

Yep. Though I would take those graphs with a grain of salt. I'll delete them to not confuse people. That tune is no longer what I'm running, and the new tune is far different from that (for the better), but is not complete yet. Just haven't had time to get to the dyno to finish up. Car is heading into storage so sometime in the Spring! But yes the car continues to build power even at 8.5k.

This might be a question that few have asked... can you tune the black box to rev match for 6 speed manuals?
