I just adjusted my valves 2k ago. It's not from a lack of maintenance trust me. I'm so damn anal with anything on this car. I do so much preventative too.

Talked with the previous owner of my car today.

I forgot to mention it has a custom Gintani/ OE tuning Tune.

Too bad you don't have a air/fuel gauge. I would change the fuel pump if you try everything else already. If you have a tune then maybe go back to OEM and see.

After some research I do believe it's the fuel pump as well. Will get it replaced as well as the fuel filter at my next oil change, coming up in under 2000 miles.

Just a wild guess, but is it possible that a clogged Idle Control Valve might be causing this?

already replaced it. See my list in the first post of things replaced.

Basically have done everything. I wish it would throw a code for whats causing it. No stored codes at all.

My bad, I didn't read the first post thoroughly.
I hope you figure out the problem soon.

Default Re: Idle Drop Issue..

I have the identical issue. Sudden idle drop, generally when pushing the clutch in, when coming up to a light or slow speed turn off the street into a parking lot, for example. Happens maybe 1 out of every 20 times. Goes from a regular idle around 900-1000 rpm, and drops down to 500 for a brief second, stumbles briefly like it's going to stall, then it recovers. Twice its actually quit on me, both times when I was turning around in a cul-de-sac.

I've cleaned the MAF, I've got a new fuel filter coming soon, although mine was replaced about 6,000kms ago or so. It's had a valve adjustment recently. I was also going to look at the fuel pump, but first I'm going to pull and clean the ICV. The other poster talking about the throwout bearing and thrust bearing those sound like plausible scenarios, I'd like to know more about diagnosing them. I also had the sense that there was some sort of drag that was causing the engine to drop rpm.
