So I was trying to order some new shoes for the e46 M3 (it's blue topaz if you care) and I decided on VMR's VB3's in hyperblack. I ordered 8.5x19" (ET 40) front and 10x19" (ET 25) rear. HOWEVER...

Called the guys at EAS, "hey where's my wheels?" "uh, those are out of stock sir, would you like 9.5x19" for the front?"

Did not see that coming...I told him I'd call him back...

Has anyone ever heard of this setup? I'm not spending money on wheels + tires that rub in the wheel well. This just seems very wide in the front. If anyone has some experience with this I would be grateful. Thanks in advance!!!!
You should use the following thought process to answer your questions.

1. What size tires am I going to run? This should be determined before selecting wheels.
2. Now that I know tire sizes, do I want them to fit correctly or be stretched? This determines wheel width.
3. Now that I've chosen wheels and tires, I choose offset to determine how flush they will be and how much camber i will have to run to make them fit.

To the OP, If you get hypersilver in 9.5 in, I will swap you my 8.5 inch fronts if you don't want the 9.5 inch, assuming you are local and the 8.5 in. silver are out of stock. Just thought I'd throw it out there, but If I was to do it again, I'd get the 9.5 fronts.
