That DIY is as bad as they say it is though. As others have experienced, my shifter has migrated over the right compared to stock, but this actually works well for a RHD car... kinda like it to be honest.
My AS 30% didn't migrate to the right. I really like it, but it was a ***** to install.

Thanks!

All i know is that I've read lots of accounts of people finding the same thing and usually the response back is that 50% of people say its normal and the rest didn't encounter it. it's strange!

I feel good now that it's done, but i definitely wouldn't do that again.

I genuinely can't think of any variables i can change for the shifter postion, spinning shifter only moves it back or foward, the selector rod sits on the passenger side (driver side in your case) and angles up over the Guibo. I can't imagine the transmission is physically displaced to one side and my motor mounts are all new, besides the carrier is centered perfectly anyway. I'm not really sure what would change the lateral position anyway, perhaps i should email Ronald. I'll report back if i find anything, but i'm sure someone here has encountered it before. But i digress, as i said, i quite like the new position.

New rod bearing journey begins.

No noise, no copper in oil (Blackstone analysis) but 70k on them and lead levels have been slightly elevated for a while (~15ppm) so I'm not going to tempt it any longer.

Found out I have VANOs codes and a TPS code going off. So I basically cursed at my car and emailed Kaiv.

Good luck! I did the Beisan solenoid, and it cleared all 7 Cels in my first week of ownership!
Now I just have to get my secondary air pump monitor to declare itself ready. Tried the drive cycle and drove the car from Central CA to Las Vegas and it still hasnt >
