Default Borla Exhaust Dyno Results? Anyone??

Thinking about picking up a Borla exhaust. Anyone have dyno results of this system. I am not a Mech E. or Physics nerd, but the exhaust design seems interesting - several bends tighter than 90 deg., etc. Just wondering how the setup works.

Thanks!
Scott

I dont think youll find a dyno, or even anyone that has the exhaust. Last I checked Borla was about to release it but has some issues with fitment and took it back to the drawing board.

Well,
I am debating

-Borla - looks like they crammed everything in there and "made it fit" but the HP claim is there, and the tips look nice.

-Eisenmann - overall nice - conservative look, wondering about real gains. Also - everyone seems to go this route. I tend to take the road less traveled.

-My own custom design - I have some exp. with this, and was thinking about it. I have a design in my mind that would result in some decent gains...which I woul verify on the dyno. I also know a very very good fabricator. People who know me are convinced it will be too loud.

In the end, I will probably go with something off the shelf - I don't have as much free time as I used to.

Thanks! I actually know a really solid fabricator that does A+ work (TIG welding, etc.). I have the sources to get the appropriate T304/321 stock, as well as flanges etc. So it would be a very quiality piece. Hang correctly, etc.

Only problem is - it might be too "hard core". Everytime I design or build something, I end up going overboard - overkill on the engineering, and overboard on the "hard core" factor. LOL!

Any opinions on having one thin wall 3" or 4" tip come out of the right valance instead of having two or four? 2Fast2Furious or Nice? Anyone? Be honest....haha!

If I am going to throw money away dyno testing, researching and building, I might consider building several and selling them (assuming they make power).

Gunther at www.gsperformance.com has it on his E46 M3. Personally I didn't care for the sound, but the tips look nice.

Stay with 4 but larger. IMO it fits the car.
