Default Has anyone used these foglights before?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-06...Q5fAccessories.

The auction title states OEM, but the price is way below OEM, which makes me wonder about the quality. Has anyone used these? Are they OEM fit and how did they work out?

They are replicas of the OEM foglamp, more than likely made overseas. The OEM foglamps have vertical "prismatics" in the glass lens. These appear to have that "clear" look to the lens. Plus, I'm not sure if the lenses on these are glass or plastic? As many BMW brochures show European models in the pictures, I have seen in the E46 M3 brochure the European cars have OEM foglamps with a "clear" lens. So these can be considered a correct look if that is an issue.

Are the lenses glass or plastic? How's the mechanical quality compare to the OEM units?

Not to bring this from the dead, but needed my passenger side foglight replaced. Dealer gave me the clear one as they had it in stock. The quality is the same, but I do NOT like the clear lens- they are both OEM, but according to tisher they were utilized up to MY 2004.

Clear lence part no: 63177894018
Vertical prism part no: 63172228614

The prismatic seems to make more light too. I know I am returning the .18 and ordering the .14
