I did a valve adjustment last week and changed my oil cooler lines. After putting it all back together I was getting P1637. Today I replaced both TPS and still when I would get on the pedal hard, it would go into limp mode. I was about to order the pedal sensor next, but decided to get on here and found this.

Last year I'd replaced the rings around the intake manifold boots with just standard flathead screw hose clamps for easier removal and installation in the future. Well, as you predicted, they weren't hitting the rod, but the levers that are on the shaft. This is why it was only happening when I would floor it, that was the only time the shaft was rotating around enough to hit my hose clamps
