Default Smg 2 gearbox problem !!!!!!!

had a faulty clutch slave cylinder which showed up as a fault....car still drove but hard to pull away as it would stall !! Had a new cylinder fitted at a dealer but the adaption process kept stopping at the 4th gear during setup...hence the gearbox wont learn or adapt now and wont select any gears...pressures are fine and everything was ok just wont learn now....any ideas as car did drive before hand...software or mechanical? Help
