I got mine replaced. yeah $200 or so

Sold to my cousin; 2005 SMG II. Imola Red Inside

Koni Yellow struts/shocks with stock springs. M Track Mode (with M Track Mode light in the cluster),
CSL factory software via autologic (launch control is at 4800rpm), genuine CSL sway bars; front (30.8mm/hollow/8lb) and rear (22.5mm/solid/8lb), brake light mod all LEDs enabled when braking.

That's parts and labor? Not bad imo, I think the part itself is over $100 right?

Actually I think the high pressure hose is closer to $200. Just run the part number.

All too common, replaced mine as well due to leak, closer to $200 for this one piece part. There are aftermarket versions for less but I didn't trust them, went with OEM.

There was one aftermarket brand that was better than the OE hose.. it was made by Burgaflex. Highly coveted as it didn't develop a leak near the coupling like the stock hose. The rubber isolator was also more robust where the stock one tends to fatigue and break as the miles add up. Good luck finding one of those though, I think it was discontinued around 2009/2010.
