LED tail lights, leatherique the interior, APEX ARC-8ís, Euro Headers and Cats, all new bushings and control arms for the suspension, rod bearings, vanos lockdown, and sub frame reinforcement.

When thatís all done I think Iíll have a nice fully sorted 6 speed, LSB on Cinnamon!

Default Laguna Seca Blue - Project Build

Hey guys, I know its been a while but I want to keep this journal updated.

- OEM LED's (purchased)

- CSL Trunk (purchased)

- ZHP Yellow Label Steering Rack

- Bronze Square APEX Arc 8's 18x9.5 35mm w/MPSS 265/35 (willing to trade for silver in the same spec)

- Shifter Rebuild

- OEM Engine Mounts

- OEM Trans Mounts

- Driveshaft Guibo

It drives like a well sorted M3 now, but still needs to be resprayed. I am OCD about the car and notice all of the paint imperfections and they really get to me. The drivers seat is also worn, the lumbar doesnt work, and that also gets to me.

I may just purchase another donor M3 for the cinnamon interior, or sell this one and keep the Alpine on Cinnamon that I just purchased. Though, the odds of ever finding another 6 speed LSB on Cinnamon are slim to none. Decisions, decisions...

Here is a recent picture from the Chicago M meet that happened a month or so ago.

Yeah I can't wait to have it installed. I am waiting until I respray the entire car to install it so that I can have it painted with the rest of the panels.

It's going to look amazing with the LED tails

Quick snap of the car with the new wheels and Pilot Sport Cup 2ís. Really liking this new look and the way it feels and much better for daily driving. I may swap the bronze Arc 8ís on the Alpine and sell it with the wheels.

Ended up doing the rod bearings, catless headers, clutch, flywheel, and a diff pinion seal this weekend. These bearings had approximately 122,000 miles on them. The bearings are ordered from cylinder 1 - 6 going left to right!

Next step for the bulletproof process is the VANOS in February!

Update: Car is in the shop for a full respray due to paint fade and clear coat peel. While its at the shop, I am having the OEM CSL trunk installed as well as OEM LED tail lights.

While doing the rod bearings 2 weeks ago, I installed an APEX stud kit, 12mm wheel spacers for the rear and 3mm spacers for the front. The car looks a lot more aggressive now.

Things are finally starting to come together.
