One of these Camrys doesn't sound like the other one.

And frankly, Camry maintenance in a car that is anything but doesn't sound so bad...

I just thought it was funny. No, it doesn't sound like a Camry. But it applies only the block itself right? Toyota doesn't run bewst on this engine in any application I've heard of, and the trans, susp, running gear, etc., are all gonna be $$$ I would guess.

I'm with Chasen though. This car is a win at $60k. At $100k, punching in a significantly higher weight class.

used ones are like 40k with something like 5k miles on them. literally cant give these things away. I think they look like shit at 40K just as much as 100k.

what a shitty proposition of a car. Best thing about it is the Sportster CS seats. Oh and the really cool Pioneer head unit.

I just don't see the point in this car as long as that thing called Porsche exists.

The one you are referring to is a bit like complaining about the 997 because you drove a 996. This is the new version.

Porsche is quickly going turbo/eps/auto across the board, they don't exist.

I'm yet to read anything that says the engine is anything more than Toyota V6 with a supercharger. Got an article?

No idea on trans(I would guess is it sourced outside of Lotus), but the diff is a Quaife, which is zero maintenance besides fluid swaps.

Unless you don't want a 911.

My brother says the Evora drives almost exactly like his Elise, but with minor creature comforts. FWIW, I love the one with the fixed rear wing, the thing looks sexy as hell, but $100K for one is definitely a bit excessive. I'd go so far as to say $75K would be OK though.

$40K is about the minimum you'll find one, btw. Most are $50K+
