Default Dyno after mods

First dyno run was done shortly after I purchased my M3 and it was bone stock.

1st Run 278.2hp Torque 229.4
2nd Run 278.7hp Torque 229.4
3rd Run 284.1hp Torque 226.6

I have installed the following mods before my dyno today:

Evosport Headers
400 cell CRT
ESS Tune
Borla muffler
Evosport Pullies
BMC Filter
Samco Intake Elbow

The dyno chart that I attached compares the best run from my first dyno to the best run of my dyno after mods.

11 hp increase and 9.2 torque increase.

Both dynos were done on the same machine.

I thought that my numbers would have been higher. Any thoughts?

you are at 370to the crank that is pretty good. look into correction factor, temp, humidity.

By the way what type of dyno was it done on ?

That baby's running way too rich above 5k.... should stay close to 13:1 for most of the tach, only dropping a point or so for the last 1k rpm. 'Course, it was ultra rich when stock.

I'd send that dyno to ESS and see what they think..... because that's way too rich for sure.

Edit: you didn't include "intake" in your list of mods, did you?? That could be throwing you way off.... your intake is stock.

no, not under full throttle.. they should be around 13.0:1, thats a safe target for an N/A car.

It looks like they did not SAE correct my dyno numbers from todays dyno. Based on this http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_hp_dp.htm SAE calculator looks like the corrected hp should be right at 300hp.

SAE correction was 98.3

I will see if he can correct the numbers tomorrow.
