Default Re: Are these normal dyno #'s for stock E46 M3

My new 135i with a Stage 1 Cobb Tune has crushed the dyno numbers on my E46 M3

M3 HP was 284
135i Cobb Tuned HP is 354
Stock 135i HP 280

M3 Torque was 229
135i Cobb Tuned Torque is 377
Stock 135i Torque 287

I am amazed at how much power this car has.

yeah but you obviously feel the need to explain that to everyone who sees you driving it...I never want to drive a car I'm embarrassed to be seen in, no matter how fast it is.

EDIT: scratch that... I see now you are the original poster... I just thought it was some random poster going off on his 135...sorry.

Interesting to hear your comparison.

The potential power that can be extracted from the DME on the 135 is amazing..The Topspeed STg0 reflash tune got 375 whp--403 wtq after all was said and done, on the Dyno Jet. It took Doug weeks of breaking down the 135 N54 DME's parameters to find this power..all on a otherwise stock platform and exhaust!

In a straight line..yes, it crushes our M3's off the line, but until you stick a LSD in the car..the M wins in the turns and around the track.
