Default HELP -95 M3 - sprchrgd - throttle linkage touches intake pipe - sticks throttle.

Alrighty boys;

I just picked up a 95 m3 with a vf supercharger on it. The throttle keeps sticking open and its tough to open with the gas pedal. The small black, plastic lollipop at the throttle linkage keeps contacting the vf intake pipe next to it. Everything seems bolted down properly, and there's no wiggle anywhere. Any ideas? It looks like the throttle body linkage was altered at some point, there's some welds on it.

I'd appreciate any advice, thanks all

Loosen, clock it, tighten?

I’m probably the most experienced with SC here. The issue you are describing shouldn’t be possible. Most linkage issues are from the ICV rubber hose being pushed into the throttle.

Pictures would help.

thanks for the quick response brett, I sent you a similar message about my problem on instagram that you may disregard.

I will post pics tomorrow or later tonight maybe. Is there a preferred way I could send you a quick pic from my phone? IG?

If there's one thing I know about Brett, its that he loves it when you text him 50x in a near mental breakdown mid part install.

I was forgetting about OBD1 throttle linkage. Looks like you have identified the issue and way to resolve it.

haha Brett was MORE than gracious looking over my pics and set up although he did mention it looked like Helen Keller did my silicon couplers

After loosening both ends of the silicon pipes I was able to move the pipe out of the way of the throttle linkage, creating a 2mm gap.
