Default Recent Trip to Laguna Seca Raceway

I finally did it. I got to drive, my dream car, on the legendary Weathertech Laguna Raceway.

Rented a trailer from a company called Road Moto, ordered some straps on Amazon, hooked up to the truck and rolled from So Cal to Nor Cal.

Made good time and got up to Monterey in just under 6 Hours with two stops.

Track day was hosted by SpeedDistrict. It felt like a GT3 meet up including the new RS in Lizard Green. Epic.

The event was awesome. 48 cars in attendance and my run group had to have had less than 10 cars in it. Plenty of track time. Sat out 4 sessions and still got my fill for the day.

Ran a 1:47.58 which is respectable I feel given my experience and relatively worn tires.

Woke up early the next morning for a nice drive on CA-1. Breath taking views.

All in all the best track day I’ve been to in my 3.5 years of tracking. Would highly recommend anyone in the So Cal area who likes HPDE events Try out SpeedDistrict.

I don't have the specs set but in those photos car is under compression and has a full trunk in the still shots. I will find out and get back.
