Default Interior swap questions

So I got an 08 IB m3 but it has grey interior. I found a black interior from a 2010 LCI but it is a 335xi but that should not be a peoblem.

First of all it should be a striaght install ?

Mine isn't LCI and his is a LCI, will there be any issues or codes that would go off?

Any other issues I'm missing or not thinking of?

Also the work itself is it something I could do myself or should I find a shop? If so how many hrs if I do it myself? And I read somewhere dealer charges 1000-1500? Anyone do this?

Tks for the helo

First of all, the non-M E90s have totally different leather that is more durable, but less comfortable and obviously not the right interior.

If you need to swap the dash and carpet, it's a brutal job. (I can't remember if the grey cars have a different dash/carpet.) If it's just seats and door panels, it's easy.
