Default Anyone running an electric fan shroud on permanently?

Just installed a Mishimoto fan shroud kit today. Unfortunately the fan is not being turned on at all.

Until I find out what's wrong, it is either wiring it directly to be on all the time with the car on (tested, the fan itself works) or going back to the OEM shroud.

Is anyone running an electric fan shroud on permanently? Any downsides noticed?

Call the people who made it. Probably controller failure

Planning on that. Unfortunately it's weekend and I need to drive it in the meantime...

Ah, gotcha - in the mean-time you can trigger off switched power and not hurt anything, it's just inefficient

Yeah, I'll probably just connect it to ignition for the short term.

Thanks for the feedback.
