Cool, thanks. I have a silver interior as is, and I think LSB seats would look great (I have a silver exterior as well).

Thanks for the reply. Can you give me a brief description on the process to dye the carpet with Rit? Ive used it on clothes, but I just soaked it in a tub.

yea its very simple actually.. the rit dye is very inexpensive and actually does a good job. i dont think it should be too much different doing the shirt from the carpet.. what i did is took a spray bottle with a really good wide angle nozzle and mixed 1:1 ritdye to water. shake well. and then go to town. spray rit dye liberally all over the carpet and take a brush and work the dye into the carpet.. just as if u were washing it.. take a sturdy bristle brush and work the dye in there.. let it dry.. and then repeat to add a couple more coats.. the more coats the blacker it gets. then after final coat dries.. u might wanna consider washing the carpet or vacuuming it really good.. if vacuuming touch it or rub it a few times with ur hands, if u get black coming off on ur hands just vacuum it some more and it it should be ready.

haha yeah ive had a couple ppl ask if id be willing to do it... it was a fun project but nothing im willing to do in my garage again unless it was for my own car. id do it for somebody at their house ...
honestly i was just as skeptical as most people on here.. the solution to this is to try it on something that u can never see.. any piece of the leather that faces that metal of the car instead of where you can actually see it.
or go to the junkyard and pick up a small part such as a headrest and buy a small kit of the leatherique and try it out.. if u fail.. u didnt ruin anything in ur car.. just lost some money.
