1999 Tacoma Prerunner with a V6, Manual, 4x4 conversion. We get pretty brutal winters up here, After my accident over Xmas, I had to drive my m3 for the winter, the first time it ever saw snow... Worst mistake I have ever made, I got stuck all the time and the tires were expensive, not too bad once you got going though. I think it's good to have a daily, an m3 could definitely be a daily driver if it never snows where you live haha

BART (bay area train) or QX70S.

It's an odd looking car, but I really like this thing. It's as much fun as you can have with this much practicality/comfort short of a Macan.
The NA 3.7L is an eager and fun engine that winds up to 7.5K. The GTR-based AWD system shows it's RWD bias if you ask it too, but will get you anywhere. The 7AT in DS mode fits the package and use just fine. All the bells and whistles in a more reliable Japanese package.

I've been daily driving my m3 for the last 5 years and am thinking about getting a daily sometime soon. Its fun, but not very comfortable (in my opinion) on tck coilovers and Im always worried about door dings and what not. I've been looking at 8th gen 2006-2012 civic si sedans. I think a manual mazda 6 wagon with the v6 would be nice, but they're really hard to find with a manual transmission.

Mine's about 15 years older than yours unfortunately lol. The VF's are really good, whenever i travel i make sure i get one as a hire car. If i could afford one i'd have a VF as a daily for sure.

Still available in the States - Chevy SS, which is a rebadged Commodore.

Just fishing for ideas, doesn't need to be practical size-wise and would ideally be semi-cheap (aka trade the Acura for it ideally). Let me know what you guys are driving! Cheers
2008 Mazdaspeed3. With ~280hp and a stick it's probably the most fun/$ you can get as a daily. And have not had any issues either outside of regular maintenance.
