Default What do you guys and gals have as fun daily drivers?

I'm looking into a bit more of a "fun" car as my daily and am just curious what you all are driving. I have an Acura TSX currently which is great and super reliable, but it's hard to get out of the M3 or my girlfriends Fiesta ST and not be bored (I have an hour commute..so the M3 doesn't go out during the week often). Just fishing for ideas, doesn't need to be practical size-wise and would ideally be semi-cheap (aka trade the Acura for it ideally). Let me know what you guys are driving! Cheers

I'm in New England, there's no way I'd drive it through a winter. I know I could, but that's just a waste. I'm jealous of driving it everyday though for sure

My daily drivers have changed depending on circumstances...
For a while it was a 98 V70XC which got the job done but was an unfortunate lemon. Once my commute turned into 60 miles each way I need better fuel economy and traded in toward a 2012 Yaris 5 door. Despite slush box, the 1.5L got great fuel economy, was peppy, was very practical (4 dogs) and at around 2200-2300 lbs, it was great on the ample back roads on my commute. More comfortable than a Fit and a better transmission than the Fiesta's auto, also cheaper to maintain than my dad's old 05 base Mini Cooper with a more practical layout.

Now I'm 100% work from home, so Yaris was sold and the E91 in my sig became the new dog and cargo hauler. Wagon and my M3 see approx 8k miles per year combined.

I drive an E39 M5 daily and my god it is such fun and so practical and easy to drive all at the same time. I've had maybe 12 or so cars in my life and it's by far the best.

V8 Holden Commodore because 'Straya.

Even with an auto gearbox it lights up the tyres pretty good, which is it's own kind of fun.
