Default RIP Chris Cornell, dead at 52

Damned shame.

First song I ever heard by them, followed by my favorite.

RIP Soundgarden was my favorite band growing up. I remember buying a bunch of their import CD's just to get the unreleased tracks. Saw them a couple of weeks ago in Atlanta as well.

Really sucks. Makes me wish I saw his last show last night in Detroit.

Media is reporting suicide, but isn't there a small chance it's one of those erotic asphyxiation deals?

Absolutely. He had a voice powerful enough to rip siding off a building.

Shit, this is 2017 trying to compete with 2016 in terms of how shitty the year can get...

Sorry to hear and RIP.

From what I've seen the notion of suicide is out there because he was found lying on the bathroom floor. I haven't seen anything else about the circumstances thus far. I'm guessing it also could have been drug related though there's been no mention of this in the news (Cornell has a history of drug/alcohol abuse).

RIP. I'm old enough to be part of the core grunge demographic in the 90's. Though Cornell is a bit older than me, it's always tough to see somebody close to your age die.

I can't think of another voice like his. Fukn real damn shame if it was suicide.

Here's his last performance of ten's favorite song last night. He doesn't look too good.
