I thought you reasoned yourself out of it. What are the odds you'll regret this? lol

I don't get to drive it much because its the wife's car. It has a DSG tranny in the Autobahn version. VW gave her a lot for her Jetta TDI so she got this. It really rocks. I was shocked. 25psi of boost per a virtual guage seems pretty high so I doubt it's accuracy but the way that car handles is amazing. The turning radius is so tiny too. It's perfect for heavy traffic and it's small enough to park easily.

I know! The price got down to where I didn't care so much.
-Clean title
-No rust
-Cool project

To the average person walking through a parking lot, it's an E36 M3. There could be a low-mile Estoril 5spd parked next to this Byzanz auto-tragic sedan and folks would say they are both an M3. Now, obviously, M3f members could spot the glaring difference in value but to the average person, it's an M3.

Congrats on the pickup! I've seen less than 5 Byzanz E36s in the wild, and I agree. All of them were not in great shape. Would you mind sharing the spreadsheet you're using to keep track of maintenance?

Same here. I did see one last summer in pretty good shape with an aftermarket spoiler. Snapped a picture of it, but haven't been able to find it.

Congrats on the purchase!
I sold my byzanz 5 spd on dove last year. The color really grew on me after owning it. It is a color you must see in person to appreciate.
