anyone else have video?

Here is a session from day 2 in the red group. some very fast cars! Had fun trying to keep up with the black Porsche. Towards the end my tires were just too overheated so I pitted in a few minutes early.

I've since moved the camera up several inches to give a better FOV. Also got an external mic that I need to mount.

Last full session I had on Saturday before breaking down on Sunday morning.

Third day ever on Tbolt. Ran a 1:36.15. Lots of room to go faster, but just working on getting consistent at this point...

I have videos from my sessions but not nearly as quick as Vox. I reviewed my data and my fastest was 1:43.5, however from a consistency standpoint I'm running much slower - in the 1:45s. I will need to work to get more camber out of the stock alignment, maybe even by camber plates. The tires are starting to reveal the damage on the shoulders from the limited camber. When the videos are uploaded I'll be sure to share. I think most of my time was exercising my left arm for point- bys!

Vox nice video! a couple more days on tbolt will make you a lot quicker as it looks like you have the line down pretty well! What tires were you running? i notice you fighting the understeer a little with your sawing motion on the wheel, i would suggest checking your camber setting and perhaps dialling out some compression in the front to resolve that, if you can!

Ill be down at Lightening in a week and a half! i cannot wait.

codes the car is throwing lead me to believe it's TPS related... but time will tell. Should know in the next few days.

thanks! Running Hankook RS3s right now (And they ended up with wayyyy too much pressure by the end of that session.. .something in the neighborhood of 42psi after coming off track).

It was my first time out with the Ohlins suspension as well as the sway bars --- needless to say, it took a few sessions to learn how the car reacts at turn in, mid corner and exit.

Two things I know I need to get better at (Especially after watching my vids from this past weekend) - finding the line on my initial turn in and staying there [not having to constantly adjust as I'm going through the corner] - Jenson Button does this so very well if you've ever watched his onboards.... very 'quiet' hands.

The second thing I seem to keep doing is 'creeping' in towards turn in (see turn 1) before I actually have to and my resulting line is more shallow than it should be and I'm having to adjust mid corner.

Will definitely take a look at my compression settings.. I know they're pretty stiff right now. Running roughly -2.5* in the front as of right now.

Thanks for the pointers!

One other thing I noticed, if you're looking for input, is to slow that initial turn-in down. Seems like you're snapping the wheel to get the car to rotate in some turns. Quick weight changes like that will upset the balance and cause an initial oversteer or understeer condition until the suspension settles. Smooth is fast. Try and blend the steering in while slowly releasing the brakes.
