Have quite a few smaller chips on the hood that need to be addressed. Def don't want to be respraying it. Gravitating towards using Langka but am curious if anyone'd tried it or anything else.

Dr Color chip makes it less noticeable since the color match is good, but the indentation of the chips will still be there. It helps.

DR Colorchip. Read on their website and understand what it does and doesn't do.

I can't recommend Dr color chip. It is nothing special imo and the color match was horrible as well as adhesion. I emailed them and they were useless basically telling me that's just how it is. Save yourself the headache and buy an OEM touch up kit and use that.

For me the key was only enough color to provide coverage, them build up slightly higher with clear and sand down with 3000 grit. It is fussy, time consuming work. |

Dr colorchip is great imo. If your bumper is rashed to a point then you can blend it fairly well with dr colorchip. It won't be perfect but it'll make the chips much less noticeable.
If your bumper/hood is that bad, then don't be cheap and get a respect.

I just used Langka and it worked well for smaller chips. Deeper ones it didn't do much. I had them (this time around) make the touch up paint and it was a perfect match. I've used it with OEM paint from BMW previously and it worked fine.
I couldn't get enough of the front ones out with the bumper hood scratches and such, so just got a respray done for $600. |

Dr Color Chip works great as long as you prep the surface well. Deep chips unfortunately will require more work.
