I had them set on half a turn from full soft and on 450/500 springs but it is way to comfortable for my driving style. I now have it set at half a turn from full hard and it feels a little more sharper to me although FCMs dyno shows otherwise. It's only been a week tho so I need more time behind the wheel with the new settings.

I plan on getting PSS10s when my TCK's finally give out but that might be a long time from now because like Obioban mentioned I have between 60-70,000 miles on them and they don't feel like they will need a rebuild anytime soon.
You'd hate driving McLarens-- too comfortable

I had ohlins r&t on my old e90 m3 and they were awesome. The design allowed for tons of ride height adjustability (from higher than stock to super slammed) and rode nicer than stock.

On my current e46m I have TCK DA front and SA rear. Im not sure what springs they have as the PO installed them, but the ride is very nice even with the stiff sidewalls that the star specs have.

The coils have around 30k on them and although they may not look like new, they ride like new.

I wouldn't hesitate with TCK

TCK seems like the best option for a street car, but not being able to run stock front strut mounts makes it a deal breaker IMO. From my research all camber plates add NVH

Will stock front strut mounts and RE RSMs work with Bilstein Pss10's?
Yes, but you'll need stock diameter RSMs as the bigger 12mm units normally used on coilover rear shocks won't work with PSS10s. You need the same size that will fit stock rear stocks.

If you want razor sharp without almost no roll then the PSS10s will do the trick. They are much more stout than TCKs.

Haha...if it's a McLaren I will force myself to love the ride. I think the way I used "way too comfortable" on my part was an exaggeration a little bit but what I mean is i want more control on ripples in the road at speed rather than the soft comfortable ride that slightly feels like it's floating to me. I think it's the whole hysteresis effect thingy right EricSMG lol. Going stiffer feels like it's helped quite a bit. Comfortableness lol is all relative because even though it's stiffer now it still feels comfortable to me which is a good thing actually.

Ride quality yes, but very cramped interior. 570/720 supposed to be improved though

I just meant the ride quality

Seems like 'smooth road' daily drivers might as well use a track setup, but what about 'city street' drivability...you know potholes, grooves and such. I replaced my worn out stock with Koni yellows and they are strangely 'harsh'. Would TCKs improve my ride comfort?

Are you on stock springs? What do you have the shocks set to?

Stock springs with reasonably set Koni yellows should be one of the best riding setups on the car.

Yes, stock springs. I also updated FCAB and RTABs at the same time.

I believe they are 'out of the box' on full soft, but I need to check to see if the shop 'tweaked the settings'.

Yes, brand new Konis are going to feel very firm relative to worn out stock shocks, big difference. Over time they'll loosen up a bit but I think mostly what you're feeling is having new vs old shocks.

And let's be realistic here - this car is never even remotely comfortable over rough surfaces and anyone who says it is is high. There're only various levels of pain and in general, Konis + stock springs is the least painful

Do be sure they are set to full soft, though.
