Default Help! Reinstalling Driveshaft to Diff

I recently decided to change my diff ratio to 3.92 on my E46 M3 and I'm currently at the point where I've already installed both side axles and am stuck trying to reconnect the driveshaft. Theres just not enough room to slide the driveshaft back into the differential. Anyone know what I may have done wrong or tips to help me install the driveshaft?

Thanks

Did you try to remove center support bearing?

Yes, the central support bearing is out. I followed this DIY (http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=521636)on removing everything out. I didn't have issues with taking the diff out, but I am having issues with reinstalling it.

I can't remember if I had to pull my guibo, but that seems like the easiest next step

I had the same issue. You will need another hand to pull down on the center of the driveshaft while you connect the end.

should be able to remove CSB and make it work. As mentioned, worse case remove from flex disk.

I had to install the diff side of driveshaft first, then guibo then csb. Somehow it wasn't working for me either doing the guibo end first.

I ended up taking out both side axles again, loosened the front diff bushing bolt and that allowed me the room to wiggle the driveshaft back in.

I was able to install it by myself while leaving everything else intact... weird!

Losen the front diff bolt and wiggle the diff around.

EDIT: we both posted at the same time. Good job.
