Default Seat brackets? Putting SRD's in my daily

Wedge brackets with double locks are the way to go? I have them in my e30 M3 and they are great but offer no tilt feature that we come to love in BMW seating. I have toyed with putting my OEM Recaro's in the M3 but they don't come close to matching the interior so they'd have to get redone.

Anoy other brackets for seats for Recaro's?

You can use Recaro modified OEM mounts. https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...ro-oem/?pdk=AQ

I am not tall at 5-10 so these would be key. Does anyone have them?

VAC mounts are great and I run them in my track car for both sides. Lots of angle adjustment for seat base and great sliders

Do the side mounts for fixed back race seats also work with recliners that typically mount from the bottom like SRDs?

You can order low versions, ask Turner. Low can be a tad high for someone 6-61

I had SRDs in my 944S2, 951 and M3. None was a daily driver. If you are putting track seats in a daily driver think about the extra distance between the back of your head and the headrest. That's the distance for the helmet. That's also the extra distance your head will snap if you are rear ended.

I thought that only happens to other people, until it happened to me. Fortunately I was in my E82 with stock seats. The rehab would have been much longer if I didn't have the headrest right there.

^^^ not even an issue. Both SRD and Pole positions have closer hearest support than OEM seats (comparing to my sport sedan now, vaders can diaf).

SRD is not a track seat, it's a fully reclining sports seat as mentioned. Think of it as a more supportive vader that offers more support.

Not to derail the subject too far, but are any of the cheaper recliners recommended? Corbeau A4 , GTS2, CR1, TRS or their newer unsprung flat bottom seats? Sparco R100, R333, or Chrono Road?
