Oh...I forgot to mention that I am from Taiwan and I travel frequently between California and Taiwan.

So all of these E36s are in Taiwan now and road legal.

I currently have my 99 M3 vert, and still have whats left of my E46 M3, and 94 325i. I'm pretty content with the vert right now. However, I'd be interested in an '01 Z3 M Coupe. It's still kind of an E36, right.

Gotcha

I've considered buying a car and leaving it at my wife's mother's house in Germany... But I'm afraid she would drive it.

1. 2002 E46 M3 SMG Jet Black(previous)
2. 1997 M3/4/5 Arctic Silver (current DD/autoX star)
3. 1990 E30 325iS 5MT Alpine White over Cardinal Red (recent purchase!)

LOVE the e36.....just picked up an E30 to become an eventual track rat with my friends and it really is a lovely and balanced car...but the E36 Turner Stage 3 pulls and pulls and is SO much fun.

It'd be worth it, especially if it's only for a short time until you can bring it to the US. Let her have her fun

Current 1995 dakar M3 & 1986 535i(e28)

Previous - 2002 tiag M3.

I am really loving the 1995 m3, So much more love for the e36 than my e46. The e46 had so many issues and little problems. The e36 is in pristine condition, drives and sounds perfect.
