I know everyone prefers brand name but I highly recommend the Autozone Metro part. It looks good and is still holding up well.

That does look great and quite OE-ish.

What's up with the gloss railing? I like it but did you have that done yourself?

As part of this weather-stripping project I'm going to refinish my rails with SEM satin black trim paint.

looks great! Metro appears to be a legit brand. "Founded in 1918, Metro Moulded Parts, Inc. is the leading USA manufacturer of top quality molded detail rubber parts".

Do you have a part number/name/description for the Metro part? Dies 'Universal Bulb Seal' sound right?

Mine were extremely faded from the sun so I had them painted Jet Black (668). They are darker than if I had bought them new but at least they won't fade again. Also think it updates the look of the car since the newer ones look similar.

Thanks! That appears to be the exact one, same one on the first page of the thread. I walked into Autozone and they had it. People mentioned creasing with various types of weatherstrip tubing and I actually cut a portion of some Harbor Freight fluid pump piping and slipped it into the corner portion of the tubing. Somehow the dimensions were perfect and it provides excellent reinforcement.
