Default Early vs late style vader seat question

Hi all. I know that vaders between the years had differ seat frames, headrest, and foam. But can anyone confirm if the leather skin on the back rest and bottom are the same between the years?

Leather skin? Unless you have extended leather the back of the seat and headrest are vinyl (or some other non-leather product).

Either way, they're certainly aesthetically different from the outside, I'm not sure if they mount up the same or are interchangeable.

When he says back rest, he means where his back rests. OP the headrests are different as the later contain more padding. The bottoms are the same. As far as I know backrest skins are the same, but that I cannot confirm 100%.
I know someone just made late skins work on their early Vaders, so in theory it should work as reverse as well.

Bottom parts are 100% same, headrests are different, though the fiberglass part is the same, foam and leather differs.
Back part is different, foam is different and the side bits of the leather are different for one attaches to the frame under the seat back and the other is sewed to a piece of plastic and then attached to the fiberglass seat back.
