Yeah I know what you mean. I do that too and think the same. Sounds like it'll be a quick resolution though.

Default Quick help please: gentily rear ended

I think $100 is fair. Hard to tell if any underlying damage was already there.

As long as the bumper cover is still in good shape (no cracks) then it should be some body filler and paint work.

I think Iím just going to call it $100. I didnít take the bumper off but I stuck my head under there and that composite piece looks fine, everything feels stiff and as it should. If I can get one of those used for $100 then itís nice insurance, Iím not going to touch the bumper itself anyway. In a few years the car will either be A. a street/track/drift missile (hopefully this), B. crashed (hopefully not) or C. basically sold for scrap and the bumper is in the same shape as it was before the collision.

He hit the bumper just above the exhaust surround which is right there at that bottom edge of the bumper support. Looks okay to me though

Sounds like a good deal for both sides.

The rear bumper looks like the front bumper. Its got Styrofoam with suction cups and 2 mounts that slide onto some white guides.

I'd be worried about those tabs that hold on the diffuser popping off. Looks like they are good to go. If some are loose or not attached to the Kevlar reinforcement then just pop rivet them back on.
