Default bran.stum's '02 M3 6mt

Welp, just acquired my first 'M' car about two weeks ago. Bought it off a good friend of mine and fellow forum member.

It's an 08/02 M3 Coupe, 164k miles, 6mt conversion, TiAg on black with brushed aluminum trim. This car was a Dinan S2, but some of the Dinan parts have been sold off over the years.

No issues with the car at all, rod bearings have been taken care of recently so I just need to tackle the rear subframe reinforcement.

The interior isn't perfect but I'm happy with it for the time being and will be addressing it in the coming weeks.

Just washed and waxed it, so perfect time for some pics.
(Pardon the quality and angle, no DSLR, just iPhone)

Has a brand new set of 18in Apex Arc 8s with Michelin PSS. One of the best looking wheels out imo.

LED taillights were bought brand new, only about a year and a half old. Still perfect looking.

Titan Shadow steering wheel trim no longer matches the interior trim. Debating on wrapping it with a vinyl very similar looking to OE brushed aluminum, or just painting it black to match the other plastics.

Airbag recall was done, makes the steering wheel look perfect.

Dinan exhaust sounds fantastic

Factory strut bar I bought was all scratched up, stripped it and will have it coated soon.

Got rid of the already peeling warning labels on the sun visors.

Tried my hand at deleting the labels on the rear seatbelts. Far from perfect, need to go over it again.

German plate thanks to my friend!

Will update with pics of upgrades and mods in the future.

I'm upgrading from an auto e39 528iT that needed a full suspension refresh, so the e46 is so different in terms of ride quality, power, and pretty much everything else. Safe to say I fell in love with it the first time I drove it. I'm very excited to see all the plans I have for it, fall into place.

Plans right now:
OE CSL Trunk
Recaro Pole Positions
Repair nav screen
Rear subframe reinforcement
Source a nice set of door panels
Alcantara wrapped steering wheel
Fresh Alcantara boots and CSL handbrake
M-Texture Goodies

Nice call on those sunvisors. How'd you get those stickers off without leaving a mark?

Clean car btw!

Used a hair dryer to heat them up and wiped them off with a microfiber. Then I used isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber to get rid of any remaining residue. Obviously have to be careful with the hair dryer so you don't melt anything. Worked great though.

Thanks!

Awesome TIAG, as boring as they are color wise, I love mine... Great condition for your mileage, PO really took care of it!

I have a black steering wheel bottom and have been searching for titan. Let me know if you want to trade...

Brett's old car! Take care of it and enjoy the hell out of it.

What did you use to remove the sun visor stickers, I've been wanting to do the same.

It's in good hands now. Brandon actually found the car on CL for me when I got it.
