Knocked off a few more interior items. First I re-dyed the rear deck as it had faded to blue. Got some fabric paint at Michaels that work pretty well:

One lesson learned, should have used more light coats. Got a little impatient at the and and last thicker coat took forever to dry. Overall happy with the result:

Also tried re-gluing the pillars, what a freakin mess. Gave up and just ordered new ones from ECS Tuning. Not the best investment but at least they will look good.

Before I put the seats back in I shampooed the carpet. There was a musty smell in the car that I was hoping was in the carpet and not the A/C system. Shampooing did the trick and no more musty smell, and the carpet looks awesome.

Also installed a set of Turner Motorsports pedals. Had a set in my E92M and love them.

Thanks! Also like your build. The paint correction you did looks awesome. What specific pads/products did you use? I've tried Meguiar's DMC6 6" DA Microfiber Cutting Disc with D300 Compound with out much success.

Great work, OP! I like the armrest delete, looks so much better than stock.

Btw, looks like your Leather Medic link was hacked by Daesh. Might want to let the guy know if he doesn't already.

Thanks! Changed the link to his Yelp page. Wonder what Carlos did to piss off ISIS!

Finished the interior last night! Got the new pillars, door cards and back seats in. Looks awesome, definitely worth the effort.

Now I have to do something with all of these black interior parts! Got seats, door cards, full carpet and just about every piece of trim. Only 100 posts to go before I can use the for sale section...

Where are you located? I need most black pieces beyond the seats door cards and dash.

Over the weekend I swapped out the eBay headers that came on the car for the OE headers/Cats. Needed to do this to get it past MD inspection. This was a HUGE pain in the a$$, but got it done!! I considered just bolting on a Euro section 1, but didn't for a couple of reasons:
  1. Didn't want to re-route the O2 sensors in the short term. Long term want to do it right by pulling extra length from the loom and routing down driver side.
  2. eBay header was slightly hitting FCAB. Wanted to get them off and modify it
  3. There were some rusted/rounded bolts between sections 1-2 I cant get off... Will have to cut them off or take car to muffler shop and let them deal with it

Regardless, I purchased a Euro CSL Section 1 that I'll get installed eventually:
