Cool, I was planning on watching this... Was it an actual depiction or loosely based on his life?

Dunno. Not very familiar with his biography, seems like it must be loosely based on the events, but it was a damned good movie and very well acted. Largely about the death of his daughter and how it impacted him. Tear-jerker for sure.

Speaking of, forgot that I finally saw "The Road" recently. Didn't think it would be able to have quite the impact as the book, but it still did quite a number on me. Highly recommended if folks haven't seen it already.

Yes I saw "The Road" and it was sad but very good... "Creation" looks like a good movie for tonight, thanks

man, looking through this thread makes me wonder peoples taste in movies...

Centurion was a huge surprise great film. Wish it was advertised better. Alpha Dog was great.

Sucker punch simply put was great from a special effect(they are not called graphics) standpoint. But the movie was trash. Zack Snyder should know better when he sees a bad script prior to directing.

Porsha,

You'd like Religulous. Great documentary with Bill Maher asking people why they believe in an organized religion.

Best Movie I've seen in a while was Source Code. Surprisingly good.

Worst was Battle for LA. Thank god for Bit Torrent. Movie was uneventful and boring.
