Default Authentic AC Schnitzer Roll Cage

Hey everyone I am selling an Authentic AC Schnitzer Roll cage for the e46. This cage is extremely rare and has been discontinued for many years now.

I bought this cage used but never installed it because I ended up going with another direction with the car. I am located in Los Angeles and would prefer to sell local. However, if possible I will ship at buyers expense but locals get priority.

This cage came off of an e46 m3 and I do know that it is a direct bolt in, no drilling or cutting. It should install into the factory rear seatbelt section. I also have rear seat delete only the bottom section not the backrest that I would include in the sale if anyone is interested. It is already pre-cut for this roll cage. Price is $1000 obo. From what I could find this thing is very rare to come across now. Call or text Manny 949-637-9638. More pics available upon request I can email or text them.

Rare piece indeed, however I am confused as to what this piece really offers. It does not have a harness bar across the back of the seats, yet I would think this would be its main feature since it does not act as a functional roll bar for rollover protection. Do you have any additional info?

I always liked this image:

Yes absolutely as far as safety functionality definitely not the way to go. If you really want a bar or cage for safety then a bolt in would not be the best option anyway but instead a custom welded cage. I never got to install it so I do not have much info but whoever I bought it from did tell me that it is a direct bolt in and requires no welding, cutting, or drilling. It fits directly to factory holes on the car already. And I do know that the rear seat does have to come out. The previous owner was running a harness but he was using the Schroth Quick Fit Pro. And yes that picture looks amazing definitely worth it even just for the looks.

I am really not sure about that but i donít see a reason why not if the roof clearance is the same. I would be more than happy to send you measurements if you would like to check.
