Default KEYHOLE DELETE(S) /DEAD BATTERY???? Need to know

Searched forum, but cant find it. If you have key delete on door AND csl bootlid,..and your battery goes dead. What do you do?? Anyone have both key deletes and/or concerned with this?? :nixweiss:

naw, i think, he means if the car is locked and you cannot unlock the driver's side door and you cannot open the trunk.

i think what he meant was if you have both of those... and you lock your car and the battery dies.... how do you get into your car... cause theres no key holes anymore.... and i think more or less you're up shats creek without a paddle...

It sounds like you would have expensive paperweight.

Seriously, if worst came to worst you would have to brake a window to get in. But I believe that the trunk release is electric as well, so we are back to the paperweight theory. I guess its probably better to keep the key holes.

Be creative.

Jack up the front of the car, remove the underpanel, attach your jumper cable ot the positive terminal on the alternator.

you know you could lift the hood without actually opening it from the drivers seat right?

so then you can change the battery and viola

THE BATTERY IS IN THE TRUNK!!!! And how could you open hood w/out pulling hinge from the inside?
