Nice action shots! Usually not a fan of 18's but those have enough period correct coolness that I really like them.

Thanks dudes. I'm still looking at 17-inch options for track. I think the 18s will look better once the wing and splitter tray are on, they are a bit too big with stock body IMO.

Thanks dude!

My latest tech article in European Car Magazine is out now, although I haven't seen it online yet...

Here's a "preview?"

No real updates right now... BUT. I got a few copies of the magazine with my latest tech article today.

As you can see, there's a bit of a delay in the whole print process... ANYWHOOO...

Going back to Streets of Willow on Sunday, this is a good chance to see how much time I can shave with the A052s and BBS on there (photos on the last page.)

I feel like there's an easy couple of seconds in there. I did about 1:34 on S.Drives and the A052 are, needless to say, a HUGE improvement.

Marc Norris (the guy who did the bulk of the work in this article, also the guy who built and owns that sick E46 full "M3 Touring" conversion) is bringing out his E30 M3 project this weekend too... Can't wait to see that thing in person. Check out the recent shots on Marc's IG, things looks NUTTY.

How did you manage that?

Thanks guys, I freelance shoot and write for European Car (features and motorsports) so when I bought my car, I presented my idea to do a series of tech articles and they agreed. I used to work on staff with Modified Magazine and Super Street so project car tech stories are business as usual for me.

Managed to get down to 1:30.xx yesterday, about 4 seconds faster than my last time at Streets.

Marc's E30 M3 might not look like much yet, but this thing is beastly.

My hooptie

Issues currently center around understeer. Any tight 2nd gear corner and it's pushing. Turn 2 and turn 13 basically killed my lap times. A simple tire pressure adjustment did help a bit, and while some of the issue is driver mod, I've driven a lot of other cars at this track without experiencing push like this. Tire size differential is the big elephant in the room here.

Regardless, I think I will try to get 2 more track days out of these tires. End of the year, I'm going to move to a set of 17x9 BimmerWorld TA16 wheels, a wider front tire, slightly more aggressive alignment, and hopefully I can get the damn wing and front splitter on. Working on finding a good body shop to paint the wing. I think these changes will help, without making the car worse on the streets. Bottom line, I do drive this thing almost every day.
