I wouldn't put that on a car that isn't a race car (personally)...but can't fault them given the item description:
Quote:
BimmerWorld race carbon parts are designed solely to improve performance. Surface finish and appearance are not priorities in our racing parts. Carbon may be unfinished or sometimes with a minimal clearcoat (for UV protection). You will not find high gloss finishes here for style points. If your priorities are a show car shine there is no shortage of cheaper carbon-wrapped fiberglass or plastic pieces on the market. These are usually loaded with fiberglass, filler, resin, and many clearcoat layers that make them too heavy or not rigid enough for real world competition use. If you wish to apply a finish we suggest vinyl wrap or a light filler skim coat and then paint. In any case, professional prep and installation are required.
Looks like vacuum infusion and not autoclave based on what looks to be pin-holes in your picture.
Should be able to cover a lot of that up and the improve the finish sheen/depth with some layers of clear sprayed on.

Yup, went against my better judgement.

As long as the fitment is ok i wont have too much of an issue.
If fitment is off i will have a problem.

I was contemplating painting prior to purchasing so its not a huge deal. I knew what i was getting myself into. Still thought it would be marginally better than how it is. Ill post more pics later.

Yea i snagged one up on here.
Waiting on my jcsl 1pc front lip now should look awesome once the car is back tg!

I'd just get it properly cleared and polished. Should make a rather large difference. Def. Post more detailed pictures...I am curious to to see what these flaws that you mentioned look like.
