LOL sorry I forgot to put grease on pedal bushing and now it squeaks like you know what. Will silicon spray suffice?

By the way, is this the same rattle you got when you installed yours? I would love to compare with E46 M3's SMF setting.

Yes, same rattle. It will get worse.

No, you need to buy a new pedal and bushings. They are wear items. If you did that, pull the pedal back down and use a lithium grease on the shaft/bushings and the pins for the slave and spring. I've never heard an E36 pedal that bad...

No more squeaking noise from the pedal after I applied abundance of amber lithium grease. Will upload video just for you tom.

Braymond, mine is way worse. It's more of a high pitch honk than a squeek. You consider the actual pedal to be a wear item, not just the bushings?

It IS a wear item, not an opinion. The holes oval out over time so bushings will not fix it.

New pedal + Rogue Engineering bushings is ideal. Replace the clutch master and slave along with clutch kit, guide tube, fork, and pivot pin. Refreshed systems done thoroughly make the E36 very enjoyable again!

Quick update on 2,000km:

1. Clutch actually has less rattling now, and it engages very smoothly.
2. Now that the clutch plate is completely engaged with the flywheel, I can really enjoy the power at the top of the rpm.
3. Can rev match like a motorcycle lol.
