Got some new bling in anticipation of my 2000 mile move to the west coast. Yakima whispbar rack and 40” wind deflector. Also got a new Bosch starter

What year is your GSXR? Mines an 11, I've never seen one in the color you have. Love how it looks!

It's a 2005 (04/05 600s and 750s are the same style), it was painted by a previous owner who rebuilt the bike. Unfortunately I had to sell it, 6th gear blew up on it, unbeknownst to me it had 1000 forks on it which didn't fit the brakes right, not to mention the rear wheel seemed to be bent or at least out of balance and I needed new tires by the time I was done with it. Someone stole it right out of my parking lot and after it was recovered a few weeks later I just sold it asap

I really loved that thing though, with all of its problems it still rode like a dream, and yeah I love the solid metallic red vs the stock colors. Part of me wants to pick up a clean one some day and get it painted similarly haha... might go for a liter this time though

Ah thats rather unfortunate man. But it will def be fun to pick up another and repaint it. I've debated doing that to mine! But I just can't settle on one color haha. Might end up getting it wrapped so I can just keep switching colors whenever I get bored.

Lol it's not a bad idea. I imagine it wouldn't cost much on the bike either. Been thinking a bit about an S1000RR lately..

I'm in love with the S1000RR, I just haven't found one in my price range yet. Another liter bike that I'm in love with is the H2.

I've also gotten the itch to start looking into building a cafe lol.

Fair enough man, I just moved to socal and I'm thinking of getting a bike again. Maybe a DR650, something cheap that I can take anywhere. S1000RR later on...

Hahah I was worried about that too, thought the roof rack would really kill my mileage. OBC stayed around ~21 mpg the whole way, wasn't bad. Cost probably $250-300 in gas for the whole trip
