I don't have any experience with autoblip but I know the new M2 comes from BMW with this feature, and while it is sort of cool I feel like it takes away from the driving experience...

Unless they monitor the selected gear as well, which they don't, it will not work properly if you're downshifting and skipping a gear down(eg:4->2).. this just blips the throttle if the brake and clutch are depressed together. I much rather do my own revmatching thank you.. i would've bought and automatic if wanted otherwise

If you have SMG, get the CSL programming for blips.

If you're a Neanderthal, learn to rev match.

My father has this in his Cayman S, it's a cool feature, makes shifting much smoother, but at the same time it takes away from the fun of doing it yourself.

I'm debating on doing this mod and turning it on during track days. I suck at rev matching due to a combination of my feet problems and skill limitations. It's 1 less thing I'd have to worry about while barreling down a track at 100mph.

This was my thought process as well. I am good with heel-toe around town but when I am on the track its one more thing I have to worry about. As I am new to tracking, its distracting me from other things I need to be paying attention to. When I feel comfortable, I could then remove the auto-blip and focus on that part of my driving.
